Acquired in 2007. This Mitsubishi Canter Rescue Tender no.1 (RT1) is operated by BFRD Special Squad based in Berakas Fire and Rescue Station. This appliance is much better than the 1980s Reynolds Boughton/McAlister RT. It is equipped with latest equipment which the older RTs didn't such as rear mechanical crane, two folding awnings above the bodywork, folding/extendible spotlight, spacious crew cabin and lockers plus its size which enable it to gain access at rural areas and narrow streets.
