The scene at the Seria Market parking space turns into minor
chaos after a child was locked in a car at the parking space this midday (19
February 2013, Tuesday). The incident occurred around 12:15pm.
While waiting for firefighters to rescue the child,
onlookers and the nearby supermarket staffs try their best to opened the car
door. A team of three firefighters in a fire engine from Seria Fire Station
arrived at the scene few minutes later to conduct rescue operation.
In order to minimize damage to the car the firefighters used
a saw and a special plastic panel to pry opens the door. They took 2 minutes to
open the door and rescue the child. Once the rescue operation ended the child
mother cuddles her child and thanked the firefighter and civilians who are
involved in the operation.
