Foreigners hurt in Jalan Menteri Besar accident



14 March 2011 (Monday) - Four foreigners sustained injuries after the vehicle they were in slammed into a lamppost along Jalan Menteri Besar in Berakas at around 12.40pm yesterday. According to eye-witnesses, it was allegedly hit by a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV). Two of the foreigners were trapped in the station wagon. Fire & Rescue personnel from the Berakas Fire Station who were led by ASO Uni rushed to the scene to free the two foreigners from the mangled vehicle. Paramedics from RIPAS Hospital and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) were also at the scene.
