SCDF Central Fire Station open house

 Recently admin managed to visit the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) Central Fire Station during their weekly Fire Station Open House during Saturdays. The open house on 21 December 2013 (Saturday) was hosted by CDAU Major (V) Tan Teow Chye. Major (V) Tan briefed the visitors on the fire appliances/ambulances as well as equipment used in the station. Most of the visitors which is mainly adults and children as well as tourists are visiting the Central Fire Station to appreciate the station contribution during the Little India riot a week earlier.

The demonstration started on the Red Rhino LFAV where visitors are given chance to try them self the water mist gun (WMG) followed by the Pump Ladder (PL) demonstration and briefing on rescue and firefighting equipment. The Open House concluded around 11am and most of the visitors managed to enjoy and mingle themself with their SCDF lifesavers.
