Ex-BSPFAERS Mercedes 308D ambulance

The Suri Seri Begawan Hospital (HSSB) in Belait District receive the donation consist of two Mercedes 308D emergency ambulance last April 2011. The ambulance which is former Brunei Shell Fire and Emergency Response (BSPFAERS) used to served BSPFAERS for 15 years old. The ambulance now served the HSSB as main emergency ambulance and will provide support at other medical installations at Belait District if needed.

BSPFAERS Mercedes Actros/SK Fire Foam Tender (FT)

Brunei Shell Petroleum Fire and Emergency Response (BSPFAERS) commissioned its latest Foam Tender (FT) appliances which was built on Mercedes Actros chassis and bodywork by SK Fire, Singapore. There are two FT in BSPFAERS fleet with callsign Romeo 4 and Romeo 5. The new appliance carry only foam firefighting agent which are used for petroleum and industrial fire. The equipment carried by the FT is standardized with other BSPFAERS standard onboard equipment. To deliver foam effectivelythe FT are also fitted with a Rosenbauer RM25c joystick controlled monitor.

BSPFAERS Mercedes Actros Romeo 6/7 crashtender

Brunei Shell Fire and Emergency Response (BSPFAERS) operates two new Crashtender (CRT) in their fleet, the CRTs are used for aviation firefighting operation. The appliances are the 2010 Mercedes Actros/SK Fire Crashtender with callsign Romeo 6 and 7. Currently stationed at BSPFAERS fire station at Jalan Tengah as standby appliance while another CRT are stationed at BSP Anduki Airfield. Both CRTs are fitted with thermal imaging camera which care controlled from the cabin and the pump can be operate from the cabin by the internal control panel for quick attack. Rosenbauer RM25C roof monitor are also fitted as the standard quick attack monitor.

Brunei Shell Fire and Emergency Response (BSP FAERS) 2010 Mercedes Actros / SK Fire Rosenbauer Hazardous Material Tender (HZT) - callsign Romeo 8. The HZT is the largest appliance in the BSP FAERS newly commissioned Mercedes Actros fleet. This is the second HAZMAT tender in Brunei after the commissioning of the first HAZMAT tender in Brunei operated by the Brunei Fire and Rescue Department in 2003. This appliance carry equipment for mitigating hazardous material threats as well as equipment for decontamination and entry gear for HAZMAT cases. To make loading and unloading of equipment from the appliance easier this appliance is equipped with rear lift door. For incident command observation this appliance also fitted with foldable handrails at the deck.

BSP FAERS Argo Cat

To increase its emergency response capability, the Brunei Shell Fire and Emergency Response (BSP FAERS) acquired two Argo Cat All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) earlier this year. The commissioning of this ATV are for the forest firefighting and onshore oil spill incidents. The Argo Cat are equipped with removable tracks and trailer for carrying equipment. The Argo Cat also can be used for water accident where this ATV can be driven in rivers and lake.

BSPFAERS Mercedes Actros/SK Fire Water Tender (R1)

Brunei Shell Petroleum Fire and Emergency Response (BSP FAERS) 2010 Mercedes Actros with SK Fire bodyworks Water Tender (WT). Callsign R1 - Romeo 1. It carry 7,000 liters of water and its lockers stored rescue equipment such as cutting and spreading tools. It is the only BSP FAERS appliance atht equipped with standard 10.5m ladder. This appliance replaced the older Mercedes Ecoliner Water Tender

Ford Transit / B.A.U.S ambulance

Brunei Shell Fire and Emergency Response (BSP Fire and ER) recently acquired three units of new Ford Transit with B.A.U.S ambulance bodyworks. This "box-ambulance" spot new green and yellow striping scheme with bright white colour. The internal section also more spacious and comfortable than the older Mercedes 314D ambulance.

Mercedes Ecoliner / Ziegler Crash Tender (CRT). F12

Brunei Shell Fire Brigade (BSP FB) Mercedes Ecoliner with Ziegler bodyworks Crash Tender (CRT). This appliance used to served the Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) Anduki Airfield as the main turnout appliance which will respond to incident involving helicopters and the airfield itself.

Toyota Hilux pick-up

Newly acquired Toyota Hilux pick-up used by the Brunei Shell Fire Brigade (BSP FB) to transport personnel and logistics. It is also used to tow trailer pump if need arise.

Mercedes Ecoliner/Ziegler Water Tender (WT)

Mercedes Ecoliner with Ziegler bodyworks Water Tender (WT). This appliance is the main fire appliance for the Brunei Shell Petroleum Fire and Emergency Response (BSP Fire and ER) main fire station in Jalan Tengah. BSP Fire and ER also the first fire brigade in Brunei to use the LED light bar thus replacing its fire appliance beacon and rotating light. Callsign is Fox 7 (F7). This appliance carry the firefighting and rescue equipment (including the Hydraulic "Jaws of Life" rescue equipment. Due to be replaced by the latest Mercedes Actros water tender by early 2011.

Mercedes Ecoliner / Ziegler FT / FWT

Brunei Shell Petroleum Fire and Emergency Response (BSP Fire and ER) formerly operates two units of Mercedes 2629 / Ziegler bodyworks Foam Water Tender (FWT) - Fox 8/9 and Foam Tender (FT) - Fox 10. This appliance used to provide foam and water support at incident site which require the large quantity of foam. By early 2011 all three FWT and FT are replaced by latest Mercedes Actros appliances.  

Mercedes Benz 308D emergency ambulance

Brunei Shell Petroleum Fire and Emergency Response (BSP Fire and ER) used to operates three units of the Mercedes 308D ambulance. This ambulance will respond to every incident involving BSP Fire and ER. Now the three Mercedes 308D ambulance is replaced with the latest 2009 Ford Transit with B.A.U.S. bodyworks ambulances.

3. Mitsubishi Pajero FOX 15 Command Car from Brunei Shell Petroleum Fire Brigade
4. Mercedes/SK Fire Emergency Tender no.8 from Seria Fire and Rescue Station
5. Mitsubishi FP/Fabristeel Water Tanker no.3 from Seria Fire and Rescue Station
6. Mitsubishi Canter/Fabristeel Emergency Tender no.6 from Sg.Liang Fire and Rescue Station.

Toyota Hilux

The slightly older Toyota Hilux pick-up operated by Brunei Shell Petroleum Fire Brigade. Used for general purpose role such as transporing foam, pump, and also to transport personnel to incident site. Such appliance will also be used for standby roles at functions which require the support of BSP Fire and ER.

Mercedes Ecoliner/Ziegler RRV

Commissioned in 1997 to replaced the older Brunei Shell Petroleum Fire and Response Rapid Response Vehicle (RRV). This RRV is crewed by three personnel and equipped with a high pressure deck mounted turret. This appliance used to be stationed at BSP Fire and ER fire station at Jalan Tengah as the third turnout appliance in case of industrial fire and other incidents which require the usage of foam. It will be replaced by the latest Actros appliances by early 2011.
