Iveco 410 / Fabristeel Water Tender Ladder no 13

Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) 2013 Iveco 410 with Fabristeel FSV bodyworks Water Tender Ladder no.13 (WRL13). This appliance currently stationed at Tutong Fire Station replacing the Volvo FL / SK Rosenbauer WRL2 which was transferred to Lamunin FS. This appliance is able to carry up to 6 firefighters to the incident site and fitted with slightly enlarged lockers section. Water tank capacity is 10,000 liters and will be part of the first attack appliances at the station.

Mitsubishi FP / Fabristeel Water Tender Ladder no.12 (WRL12)

Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) 2010 Mitsubishi FP with Fabristeel bodyworks Water Tender Ladder no.12 (WRL12). This appliance currently stationed at Operational B command at Belait District. Compared to previous WRLs in the Operational B command this appliance is fitted with a folding side canvas (left side) at the bodyworks, a hand operated deck monitor and carry extra suction hoses and ladders.

Volvo FL10 / SK Fire Water Tender Ladder no.25 (WRL25)

Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) 1996 Volvo FL10 with SK Fire bodyworks Water Tender Ladder no.25 (WRL25). Currently stationed at Muara fire station as the main turnout appliance. This appliance still spot the old livery and paint scheme.

Dennis DFD / SK Fire Water Tender Ladder no.23 (WRL23)

Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) Dennis DFD 2424 with SK Fire bodyworks Water Tender Ladder no.23 (WRL23). This appliance used to serve the Jerudong 1 fire and rescue station before kept as reserve WRL at the BFRD MTO main workshop at Beribi.

Public Auction 22 May 2010

A public auction which consist of several workshop equipment and two Dennis fire applainces will be held at the Brunei Fire and Rescue Department Workshop at Beribi Fire and Rescue Station. The appliance which will be sale to the the public are as follows:

1987 Dennis RS133RL/2904 with Carmichael bodyworks Base Pump no.1 (BP1) BG 5895 (ex-Bandar Seri Begawan Fire and Rescue Station)

Dennis 133 / Carmichael Water Tender Ladder no.18 (WRL18)

Brunei Fire Brigade 1986 Dennis 133 with Carmichael bodyworks Water Tender Ladder no.18 (WRL18). This appliance is the main turnout appliance for the Belait fire station. It carries 13.5m ladder and other section ladder. For firefighting roles this appliance carries 5000L of water and firefighting equipment. This appliance served the Belait Fire Station until end of 1990s when it was replaced by the 1998 Volvo FL10/SK Fire Water Tender Ladder no.1 (WRL1). Now this appliance had been kept as reserve appliance.

Volvo FL10 / SK Fire Water Tender Ladder no 5

Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) Volvo FL10 with SK Fire Rosenbauer bodyworks Water Tender Ladder no.5 (WRL5). This appliance currently stationed at Tumasek Fire and Rescue Station as the station main turnout appliance.

Mercedes Atego/SK Fire Water Tender Ladder no.28 (WRL28)

2006 Mercedes Benz Atego with SK Fire bodywork Water Tender Ladder no.28. Formerly stationed at Berakas Fire and Rescue Station and later transferred to Lambak Kanan fire station. This appliance is currently the main turnout appliance at the station. It carries 3,000 liters of water along with other the common equipment onboard such as the 10.7m fireman ladder and other firefighting and rescue equipment.

Standby @ ICC

MPV4 in new color scheme and new striping.

In conjunction with the UBD 21st Convocation Ceremony Brunei Fire and Rescue Department along with other emergency services are on standby at the Internation Convention Centre, Berakas. BFRD stationed WRL11 and FCP-01 along with other support vehicles in providing fire prevention support.

Also present to supervise and coordinate the standby was SFR Ranee bin Hj.Othman from the C operational Command.

Volvo FL10/SK Fire Water Tender Ladder no.1 (WRL1)

Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) 1997 Volvo FL10 with SK Fire bodyworks Water Tender Ladder no.1 (WRL1). This appliance is the Kuala Belait Fire Station main turnout appliance. It carries equipment for firefighting and rescue operation. It also carry 5000 litres of water.

Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) 1993 Dennis DFD 2424 with SK Fire bodyworks Water Tender Ladder no.24 (WRL24). This appliance possibly been retired or refurbished by the department. This appliance carry water in its tank and firefighting and rescue equipment in the lockers. Quite a familiar sight to see the Dennis in the 1990s, however as time goes by many Dennis are retired and recently the "friend" of this WRL24 the WRL22 are striped into parts in Sg.Liang area

Mitsubishi /Fabristeel Water Tender Ladder no.9 (WRL9)

2007 Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) Mitsubishi FV with Fabristeel bodyworks Water Tender Ladder no.9 (WRL9). This appliance currently stationed at Pengkalan Batu Fire and Rescue Station as the station main appliance. This appliance carry the firefighting and rescue equipment in its lockers. The difference of this appliance with the other WRLs are it is fitted with a folding canvas awning which is fitted above the bodywork. A removable water monitor are also carried in this appliance which is used for offensive firefighting operation.

Mercedes Benz Atego / SK Fire Water Tender Ladder no.11 (WRL11)

Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) 2009 Mercedes Atego with SK Fire bodyworks Water Tender Ladder no.11 (WRL11). This appliance carry 4,500 L of water and its lockers stored various firefighting and rescue equipment. This appliance also carry a 52m ladder. Currently this appliance stationed at Berakas Fire and Rescue Station.

Volvo FL10/ SK Fire Water Tender Ladder no.4

Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) Volvo FL10 with SK Fire bodyworks Water Tender Ladder no.4 (WRL4) currently stationed at Jerudong 1 FRS. The WRL4 was used to be the Bandar Seri begawan (Central) FRS main appliance before replaced by the 2006 Mercedes Atego/ SK Fire WRL8. This appliance carry rescue and firefighting equipment onboard. In addition this appliance is fitted with a Rosenbauer RM24M hand operated turret for initial firefighting.

Volvo FL10/ SK Fire Water Tender Ladder no.3

Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) 1998 Volvo FL10 with SK Fire bodyworks Water Tender Ladder no.3 (WRL3). The WRL3 are stationed at Seris FRS to replaced the ageing Shelvoke & Drewry SPV/McAlister WRL and Bedford TK/McAlister WRL operated by the station. Now it is the main appliance of the station which act as 1st strike appliance while waiting for the water tanker and the emergency tender from the station.

Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) Volvo FL10/SK Fire Water Tender Ladder no.6 (WRL6). Currently this appliance is stationed at the Sg.Liang Fire and Rescue Station as the station main turnout.

The only 'smallest' fire appliances in Brunei is this Dennis DFD/SK Fire Water Tender Ladder no.24 (WRL24) miniature. This WRL24 come along with the fire station (sounds like Matchbox die cast promo).

The WRL24 miniature was based on the real thing which currently on repair at Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) Beribi workshop for repair. While the fire station is based on the real Brunei Shell Petroleum Fire Brigade fire station at Jalan Tengah.

Dennis DFD/SK Fire Water Tender Ladder no.22 (WRL22)

Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) Dennis DFD2424 with SK Fire bodyworks Water Tender Ladder no.22 (WRL22). This appliance is among the 1990s Dennis DFD delivery in the early 1990s. Now most Dennis appliances had become reserve appliances. WRL22 is believed to served Lamunin and Tutong Fire Rescue Stations. In May 2008, this appliance was replaced by the new 2008 Mitsubishi Fuso/Fabristeel WRL9 from training centre followed by in 2009 it was replaced by Mercedes Atego/SK Fire Water Tanker no.5 (WRT5).

2006 Mercedes Atego/SK Fire Water Tender Ladder no.27 (WRL27)

Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) 2006 Mercedes Atego wtih SK Fire bodyworks Water Tender Ladder no.27 (WRL27). This new WRL is built on 4WD chassis to meet the demand of firefighting in rugged areas. Also, this WRL is built on 2-axle chassis, compared to the older WRLs which was built on 3-axle chassis. As usual this appliance carries the standard firefighting and rescue equipment. Pump i built by Godiva.
