Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) new 2010 Yamaha FZ6 Fazer S2 fire motorcycle. BFRD acquired two units, each with its own roles. The rescue mode is equipped with the battery powered Holmatro BCT 3120 hydraulic cutter/spreader while the firefighting mode is equipped with the Hipress HiCafs backpack fire extinguisher.

The Brunei Fire And Rescue Department received their fire bikes in 2000. The fire bikes are operated by the department First Responder unit. Currently the fire bikes fleet are made up of Suzuki GS300E bikes which are equipped with either conventional fire extinguisher or Impulse System Extinguisher (IFEX 2000). The fire bikes will be deployed in large scale functions such as national day, HM birthday where the bikes support the larger fire appliances.
