2010 Mitsubishi 617D Water Tanker no.8 (WRT8)

Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) 2010 Mitsubishi 617D with GHK motors bodyworks Water Tanker no.8 (WRT8). This appliance currently stationed at the Muara fire station as the second turnout and water carrier. The tank can carry 8000 liters of water and it carries water management equipment at the lockers. A portable pump is fitted to pump water in and out of the tank.

2009 Mercedes Atego / SK Fire Water Tanker no.4 (WRT4)


Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) 2009 Mercedes Atego with SK Fire Water Tanker no.4 (WRT4) is the main water tanking appliance for the Jerudong Fire and Rescue Station. This appliance carry water management equipment and fitted with Rosenbauer RM24M deck mounted turret.

Mercedes Atego / SK Fire Water Tanker no.5 (WRT5)

Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) 2009 Mercedes Atego with SK Fire bodyworks Water Tanker no.5 (WRT5). This appliance currently stationed at Tutong Fire and Rescue Station and will respond as second responder to support the station WRL or LP. This appliance carry the water management equipment such as pumps, hoses, suction hoses, nozzles etc. Water tank capacity is 8000 L. A Rosenbauer RM24M hand operated turret is fitted at the deck for initial firefighting.

Volvo FL7/Fabristeel Water Tanker no.1 (WT1)

Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) Volvo FL7 with Fabristeel FSV bodyworks Water Tanker no.1 (WT1). This appliance carry 15,000L of water in its tank and currently it is stationed at Operational "G" Command Bangar Fire and Rescue Station, Bangar Town, Temburong as the main water carrier appliances.

Brunei Fire and Rescue Department Volvo FL10 with SK Fire bodyworks Water Tanker (WRT6) now seen in new paint coat and also new striping. This appliance carry 15,000L of water and carry water management equipment onboard such as hoses, branches and suction hoses. This appliance also fitted with a Rosenbauer RM24M hand operated turret for initial firefighting operation.

Volvo FL10/SK Fire Water Tanker no.2 (WRT2)

Brunei FRD Volvo FL10 with Fabristeel bodyworks Water Tanker no.2 (WRT2) operated by the Bandar Seri Begawan Fire Rescue Station. Tank capacity is 15,000L and it carries water management equipment at its lockers. A removable portable pump is carried at the left side locker which is used for pumping out and in water from the tanker.

This year Belait Helipad standby fleet consist of:
  1. Mercedes Ecoliner/SK Fire Rapid Intervention Vehicle no.1 from Jerudong 2 Fire and Rescue Station
  2. Mercedes Ecoliner/Ziegler Runway Rescue Vehicle (RRV) F13 from Brunei Shell Petroleum Fire Brigade
  3. Mitsubishi Pajero FOX 15 Command Car from Brunei Shell Petroleum Fire Brigade
  4. Mercedes/SK Fire Emergency Tender no.8 from Seria Fire and Rescue Station
  5. Mitsubishi FP/Fabristeel Water Tanker no.3 from Seria Fire and Rescue Station
  6. Mitsubishi Canter/Fabristeel Emergency Tender no.6 from Sg.Liang Fire and Rescue Station.
*However due to security reason the police personnel at the helipad didn't allow photographer to shoot photos at the helipad.

Mitsubishi Fuso FP/Fabristeel Water Tanker no.3 (WRT3)




Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) Mitsubishi Fuso FP Water Tanker no.3 (WRT3). This appliance was first stationed at Belait Fire and Rescue Station before transferred to Seria Fire and Rescue Station. Crewed by 3 personnel. This WRT carries 150,000L of water. Currently, WRT3 is the first BFRD WRT built on Mitsubishi Fuso chassis. It has some differences with the WRTs before it. Such as the deck turret is placed at rear, the former WRTs had their turret at front. To maximize equipment carrying, two lockers had been built at rear sides.
