Mitsubishi Fuso Canter GPVs

Last 16 March 2011, Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) receive and commissioned five units of new pick-ups to strengthened its General Purpose Vehicle (GPV) fleet. The latest GPVs which used the Mitsubishi Fuso FE chassis was fitted with pick up bodywork complete with steel awning. The 5 new GPVs will be distributed to fire stations at Brunei for cargo carrying roles as well as for operational roles where it can be converted into hose layer and equipment carrier especially at areas which are not accessible to major fire appliances.

Mitsubishi FM GPV3

Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) Mitsubishi FM cargo truck with Hi-Ab cargo crane General Purpose Vehicle no.3 (GPV3). This appliance currently stationed at the BFRD Lambak Kanan Training Centre as the Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) training vehicle and as the BFRD main cargo truck when needed.

Daihatsu Delta GPV5 .

Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) 2008 Daihatsu Delta General Purpose Vehicle no.5 (GPV5). This appliance is used to transport firefighting equipment and logistics from station to station. Also act as hose laying appliance and personnel carrier. During natural disaster eg flood, this appliance will be used to transport humanitarian supply to area affected by floods especially in the Belait District inner part areas. Currently stationed at Sg.Liang Fire and Rescue Station.

Daihatsu Delta General Purpose Vehicle no.4 (GPV4)

Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) Daihatsu Delta General Purpose Vehicle no.4 (GPV4). This appliance was commissioned in 2008 and stationed in Tutong Fire and Rescue Station to meet the demand for logistics jobs in the district.
