25 April 2011 Monday - A man sustained injuries after involved in an early morning self accident at the Jerudong Highway in front of the Shahbandar Recreational Park. The self accident which occurred around 8:00am saw the car crashed into the road barriers before stopping. A team of firefighters led by Superintendent of Fire Rescue SFR Hj.Mohammad rushed to the scene with Accident Unit no.4 (AU4) and Water Tender Ladder no.4 (WRL4) from Jerudong fire station. The firefighters then extricate the man from the mangled car and cleaned the scene which are spilled with oil and debris. Also rushed to the scene are RIPAS hospital paramedics and traffic police which controlled the traffic. The accident also saw a traffic congestion both at the Jerudong Beach flyover and highway near the Jerudong Filling Station
