As Muslims around the country are busy visiting their relatives and friends for the Hari Raya Celebration, several emergency services personnel including the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) personnel are busy providing assistance tonight (2 September 2011 Friday) to road users who are in trouble at several roads at Brunei Muara District.
In the first case at the Berakas Roundabout near the Berakas Helat Centre a car suffered from engine problem. The incident which occurs around 7:45pm caused minor traffic congestion at the road from Delima area heading towards the roundabout. A team of police personnel in a patrol car from the nearby Berakas Police Station rushed to the scene to direct the traffic and reduce the congestion.
Meanwhile at Jalan Jerudong another incident involving a four wheel drive (4WD) vehicle causing traffic congestion. The incident which occurred around 9pm saw the 4WD suffered from tyre burst causing it to pull over to the roadside. A team of police personnel from the Sengkurong police station rushed to the scene to provide assistance as well as directing the traffic from curious onlookers.
