In order to provide fire cover for its Air Base at Rimba, the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) operates a fleet of firefighting appliances from a fire station near its runway. The current fire cover consists of two latest Rapid Intervention Vehicle (RIV) which are build on Mercedes Actros chassis while bodyworks by SK Fire, Singapore. While for support role it is also equipped with a Land Rover jeep which is used to tow support trailer which are packed with firefighting equipment.
