Jungle Tots visit Belait Fire Station

A group of children with their parents and guardians from Jungle Tots Club in Panaga Club recently (12 May 2012, Saturday) visited the Belait Fire Station. The visit is aimed to exposed the children to the firefighting job as well as to create awareness among the children on fire safety and prevention.

On hand to greet the visitors at the station was Superintendent Fire Rescue (SFR) Chin Pok, Deputy Commanding Officer of B Command, Assistant Superintendent Fire Rescue (ASFR) Wan Zulaini bin Wan Ibrahim, Operation B fire prevention officer. The visitors then briefed on the firefighter everyday routine as well as shown the firefighting and rescue equipment, fire boat and fire engines used by them during emergency calls.

They also given opportunity to ride fire engines around the station. The visit concluded with the firefighting foaming and water jet demonstration. The Jungle Tots representative also handed souvenir to ASFR Wan Zulaini to commemorate the visit
