Malai Mashhor staffs participate fire marshal course

10 staffs from Malai Mashhor Group of Companies participate the Fire Marshal course at Belait Fire Station. The three day course was held since last Monday (2 July 2012) and concluded today (4 July 2012, Wednesday).

Present to supervise the participants training was Assistant Superintendent of Fire Rescue (ASFR) Wan Zulaini bin Wan Ibrahim, Belait Operation B fire prevention officer as well as officers and staffs from the Belait Fire Station.

During the course the participants involved in various firefighting and basic rescue drills namely the Hydrant 1 drill (wet and dry), smoke house survival and basic knowledge on firefighting and rescue equipment. To mark the last day of their training the participants are given chance to experience the flying fox and the practical on extinguishing fire using fire extinguisher.

 The participants are part of the several batch of participants from the company which are trained on the fire marshal course. When interviewed the participants sees that the course are beneficial for their daily work as they saw the course outcome are useful in case of emergencies such as fire occurred at the workplace.
