Few weeks after a self accident at the road bend at Birau
Village, Tutong last Ramadhan another accident occurred this afternoon (5
September 2012, Wednesday) few meters from the site. The accident occurred at
the main road between Birau Agriculture Station and Raja Isteri
Pengiran Anak
Saleha Secondary
School
The accident which occurred around 2:15pm saw a four wheel
drive (4WD) vehicle are waiting to turn to the agriculture station when
suddenly a 45 seater bus rammed the vehicle from its rear. The impact of the
crash not only damaging the 4WD vehicle but it causes it to flung and
overturned into the drain in front of the Agriculture Station. The bus itself
which is operated by Indomabru Transport also suffered minor damage at its
front section. The crash caused staffs as well as students from the Agriculture
Station and SM RIPAS to throng the site to witness themselves the accident.
Fortunately both 4WD and bus driver are not suffering any injuries from the
accident.
