Accident at Jalan Singa Menteri

An accident involving two cars occurred recently (16 March 2012, Friday) at the roundabout near the Belait Department Of Electric Services (DES) office at Jalan Singa Menteri, Kuala Belait. The accident which occurred around 7am saw two cars crashed into each other at the roundabout. The impact cause two person injured and trapped. A team of firefighters and two fire engines responded to the scene to extract the casualty. Paramedics from the Belait Suri Seri Begawan Hospital also respond to transport the casualties to hospital for further treatment.

The caused of the accident are still investigated by the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF). The accident also caused traffic congestion along Jalan Singa Menteri for those who travel to Kuala Belait.
